This role sits within the Singapore finance department which is responsible for regulatory, tax, financial and management reporting and which works closely with other finance teams in Asia including the regional finance team.
This role is to help the CFO and Head of Finance ensure that all aspects of the Finance department are run in a professional and compliant manner and in line with Lockton’s code of conduct and terms of business.
The incumbent of this role will assist in the preparation of external financial reporting (including to MAS and IRAS), month end process and the preparation of internal management reporting (including partnering with the business leaders and ongoing performance monitoring).
Job Description – Key Tasks and Responsibilities
Regulatory & Tax reporting
· Supports the preparation of reporting to external stakeholders such as MAS and IRAS.
Financial reporting
· Assist in the monthly, quarterly and year-end financial close process.
· Assist in the annual external audit process and preparation of annual financial statements. Helping to ensure Singapore and group reporting deadlines are completed in a timely manner.
· Help to maintain accurate ledgers through the production of balance sheet reconciliations and analytical information to ensure appropriate treatment.
· Preparation of monthly journals in line with appropriate policies.
· Adopt a continuous improvement mentality regarding processes, reporting and controls.
Management reporting & business partnering
· Preparation of management information reports to help understand the performance of the business.
· Assist in the budget and forecast process.
Treasury operations
· Assist in the preparation over the cashflow forecast and implement the company’s Treasury strategy.
