job responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with food hygiene measures in food production areas, restaurants, and hotels.
  • Inspecting manufacturing processes to ensure health rules and laws are upheld.
  • Monitoring the overall hygiene activities in food production areas.
  • Implementing and maintaining HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) standards.
  • Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Ensuring that food is safe, wholesome, correctly labeled, and packaged.
  • Handling food safety and environmental health and safety in the workplace.

  • Ensuring compliance with food safety and environmental health regulations.
  • Implementing and maintaining HACCP standards.
  • Training employees in proper food handling techniques.
  • Monitoring food production areas and the flow of food.
  • Managing temperatures, product rotation, expirations, and cleaning activities.
  • Conducting safety audits and internal inspections to ensure compliance with local regulations.
  • Checking and documenting temperatures, dates, and food safety procedures.

Understands, records, and update food hygiene protocol when required.

  • Conducts daily inspection of food production areas to monitor and maintain hygiene standards.
  • Conduct daily inspection to ensure proper stock rotation either by FIFO or FEFO of all food and non-food items.
  • Comply with recording all daily checklist and communicate with respective personnel on the set standards.
  • Training cleaning staff in the use, storage, and handling of chemicals and food-grade chemicals.
  • Educating food handlers on personnel hygiene, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to hygiene protocols.
  • Managing and documenting cooking times, temperatures, and cleaning activities.
  • Training employees in proper food handling techniques and ensuring compliance with food safety procedures.
  • Monitoring the flow of food and implementing controls to prevent contamination.
  • Maintaining proper documentation of all food safety procedures and conducting safety audits to ensure compliance with regulations.
