BROAD FUNCTION
- Provide administrative support for the operation of Ren Ci Integrated Home and Day Care (IHDC) and Senior Care Centre (SCC).
- To liaise with clients and clients’ next of kin on matters pertaining to Ren Ci IHDC and SCC.
JOB RESPONSIBILITES
- To receive referrals from referral source(s) and prepare them for screening by the Case Manager/ Centre Manager.
- To schedule appointments for initial assessment, financial counselling, and regular therapy sessions.
- To perform counselling explaining to clients and/ or their next of kin regarding the contract of service.
- To conduct means testing for patients if required.
- To prepare and maintain order of case notes for new admissions and for scheduled therapy sessions.
- To process admission and discharge of clients.
- To enter client’s attendance into the Centre Based System (CBS) on a daily basis, and update the system as necessary.
- To liaise with Operations & Facilities Management (OFM) personnel for transport arrangement for clients if required.
- To liaise with the Business Office or Finance personnel for billing matters.
- To update the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) website; CBS and Transport Call Centre (TCC) system as and when necessary.
- To perform reception duties, including responding to phone calls and attending to general enquiries.
- Carry out other tasks/ projects assigned by the Centre Manager/ Head of Rehabilitation Department.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Certificate in Healthcare Support (Administration) or equivalent is desirable.
- Working in a geriatric set up, long term care or nursing home set up.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power point, and other computer skills.
- Mature and is a good team player.
- Compassionate and able to relate well with the Patients of the hospital.
- Caring, understanding, patient and is empathetic.
- Able to multi task and work in a stressful environment.
