Responsibilities:
Network:
- Formulate and execute thorough designs for network architecture.
- Enhance the performance, reliability, and scalability of current network infrastructure.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to integrate networking solutions seamlessly.
- Integrate resiliency measures across the entire backbone, LAN, including campus and data center layers.
Infrastructure:
- Develop and deploy virtual and Storage Area Network (SAN) architectures that are both efficient and scalable.
- Assess and choose suitable technologies to improve the overall performance of the system.
- Verify the alignment of systems architecture with the organization's business objectives.
- Establish resilience across all facets of the infrastructure design.
Cloud Integration:
- Architect, devise, and execute cloud-based solutions with a focus on scalability and security.
- Assess and choose cloud services that align with organizational requirements.
- Guarantee smooth integration between on-premises and cloud environments.
- Establish resilience across all aspects of cloud resources utilized within the environment.
Cybersecurity:
- Embed security by design in all architectural plans to ensure comprehensive protection.
- Identify designated technologies within the design and validate their effectiveness in addressing cybersecurity concerns.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Articulate intricate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaborate with IT teams to ensure that architectural designs align with organizational goals.
Technology Evaluation and Integration:
- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, evaluating their potential impact.
- Assess and seamlessly integrate new technologies to augment overall organizational capabilities.
- Offer guidance on technology selection in alignment with organizational needs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
- At least 8 years of demonstrated expertise in designing and/or delivering enterprise data center and cloud environments, specializing in networking, systems design, cloud integration, and cybersecurity.
- Profound understanding of networking technologies and systems architecture.
- Preferred certification: CCNP or higher.
- Essential virtualization experience with both VMware and Hyper-V.
- Required proficiency in Windows Server and Linux.
