My client is an established MNC specialising in producing chemicals for a wide range of industries – semiconductors, electronic, food and beverage, personal care, pharmaceutical & etc. This EHS engineer oversees the development & implementation of EHS system of various operations – R&D laboratory, production facilities & warehouse.
They are looking for a senior talent but candidates with more years of experience are welcomed to apply and will be considered as a Manager.

About the Job:
- Develop, improve & implement goals towards regulatory compliance, injury prevention & awareness promotion/ cultural transformation.
- Conduct risk assessments & identify potential hazards for new construction/ expansion/ major installation projects/ contractors’ work activities.
- Manage all safety incidents from investigations, analysis of root cause/ trends/ gaps to proposal of preventive & corrective action and presentation to the management board if necessary.
- Act as the main liaison between company & statutory board for ISO 45001, ISO14001, SS651 audits & recertification, as well as delivery trainings to the employees on ground.
- Provide supports to business continuity planning, product stewardship and other safety & security programmes.
About You:
- BSc/ MSc in EHS/ chemical engineering/ relevant disciplines.
- Certified MOM WSHO officer & Fire Safety Manager.
- 2-4 years of work experience, preferably in the chemical/ pharmaceuticals/ electronics with laboratory/ manufacturing exposure.
- Candidates with more years of experience, with people management experience can be considered a manager title.
- Well versed in ISO14001, ISO45001, SS651. Knowledge in other safety aspects like chemical safety, confined space assessment & work at heights is a plus.
