Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for establishing, controlling, maintaining, and improving existing supplier quality performance. Monitor key quality metrics (Technology, Quality, Responsiveness, Delivery and Cost). Work with suppliers on continuous improvement in these areas.
• Work with design engineers and customers to develop equipment validation plan, factory, and site acceptance testing plans. Responsible for execution and documentation of validations and testing.
• Working closely with suppliers to ensure product requirements are understood and complied with. Ensure suppliers are meeting product quality requirements and delivery schedules. Providing updates to the internal team on the progress.
• Establish inspection plan and testing criteria at supplier sites and incoming.
• Initiate corrective action report management and resolution. Working with supplier’s non-conformance activities, perform root cause analysis and determine effective corrective actions to reduce or eliminate the cost of poor quality.
• Establish and implement an efficient project-related documents control and database filing system
• Maintenance and continuous improvement of documentation approval and filing system (Windchill)
• Support training programs by development and implementation of specialized training sessions for all applicable functions
• Lead in continuous improvement activities
• Any other assigned task.
Requirements:
· Degree in Mechanical Engineering
· 2-3 years of relevant working experience
· Ability to understand and interpret engineering drawings and specifications including strong GD&T skills and experience is a plus
· Able to perform inspection using measuring equipment
· Experience with handling of supplier and supplier quality management
· Experience in using problem-solving tools including fishbone diagrams, FMEA and 5-whys methodology
· Good analytical, communication and interpersonal skills
· Able to analyse data for accuracy and correctly interpret results
· Meticulous attention to details, able to multi-task and committed to the job
· Familiar with ISO9001 Quality Management System requirements is a plus
· Good English communication skills, both verbal and written
· Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Outlook
· Class 3 driving license is an added advantage
