Financial Management

· Formulate and administer the organization's budget, ensuring fiscal stability, cost-efficiency, and long-term financial resilience.

· Meticulously oversee cash flow, prepare financial reports, and provide actionable insights to facilitate data-driven decision-making.

· Assume responsibility for accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll processes, optimizing their efficiency.

· Manage and develop relationships with stakeholders and project participants.

· Oversee and advice on the development and implementation of the sustainability project.

· Monitor, track and analyse effectiveness of the sustainability project.

· Develop and propose carbon reduction solutions to stakeholders.

Compliance and Reporting

· Assure strict adherence to all financial regulations and statutory reporting requirements, maintaining the organization's impeccable financial standing.

· Prepare, evaluate, and submit sustainability reports, including ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) disclosures, in alignment with industry benchmarks and legal standards.

Sustainability Strategy (Fresh is welcome)

· Work with relevant stakeholders to identify potential opportunities to implement sustainability projects by assessing technical, commercial, regulatory, financial feasibility fundamentals.

· Manage and develop relationships with stakeholders and project participants.

· Oversee and advice on the development and implementation of the sustainability project.

Risk Management

· Execute a thorough assessment of financial and sustainability-related risks, conceiving and executing comprehensive risk mitigation strategies.

· Keep a vigilant eye on evolving industry trends and best practices, proactively adapting our strategies to ensure long-term sustainability and financial viability.

Stakeholder Engagement

· Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with internal and external stakeholders, actively promoting our sustainability practices and effectively communicating our financial performance.

· Foster partnerships with sustainability organizations and thought leaders to amplify our sustainability initiatives and impact.

Human Resource Engagement

· Develop and post job description

· Source candidates through online job boards, LinkedIn, employee referrals

· Screen resumes and select top candidates for interviews

· Research and recommend competitive salary and bonus structure

· Administer payroll, taxes, insurance, retirement plans and other benefits

· Submit grant applications prior to deadlines

· Provide supplementary documents as needed during grant review process

· Track status of submissions and report decisions

· Manage grant funding if awarded - compliance, reporting, impacts
