Planner (BOM/MRP/Oracle)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct daily production planning, reviewing statuses, and providing necessary updates.
  • Review daily material shortages and expedite buyers to meet demand, minimizing disruptions.
  • Coordinate seamlessly with internal stakeholders including Manufacturing, Logistics, and Customer Service, for smooth operations.
  • Identify, negotiate, and proactively resolve conflicts with different departments related to materials availability, capacity, and order promise integrity.
  • Review Material Requirements Planning (MRP) execution to ensure data accuracy.
  • Reconcile supply and demand to maintain accurate production schedules.
  • Approve and review Engineering Change Orders (ECO) for materials impact.
  • Update Bills of Materials (BOM) as required and adjust production schedules accordingly.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on production performance, highlighting issues and bottlenecks.
  • Utilize data analysis to drive informed decision-making and process improvement.
  • Participate in audits and inspections as and when required.
  • Attend EH&S training programs and take personal responsibility for safety.
  • Initiate & Participate in Continuous Improvement programs within the company to reduce waste, reduce cost, reduce error, and improve productivity.

Requirements:

  • Possess min Diploma in Supply Chain or a related field.
  • Min 3 years of relevant experience in supply chain or production planning, preferably in semiconductor/manufacturing industries.
  • Exhibit strong problem-solving skills, addressing challenges effectively.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to facilitate effective collaboration.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge of VB & Power BI tools is an added advantage.
  • Show interest in process improvement, contributing to the enhancement of planning processes
