Responsibilities:
- Create a plan for software regression and validation for semiconductor equipment.
- Create and maintain documentation for software validation that includes test plans and software configuration parameters.
- Create test cases and scripts, then run them to verify the functionality and performance of the product.
- Regression testing
- Work together with the software design team and the appropriate stakeholders to make sure that the software products adhere to industry standards and customer needs.
- Examine test results and give pertinent stakeholders comments.
- Take part in design evaluations.
- Conduct troubleshooting and present results to address software flaws and problems.
- Keep abreast of market developments and recommended procedures for software validation and quality control.
Additional Information:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or a comparable discipline
- Five years of software validation and quality control experience with semiconductor equipment
- Comprehensive knowledge of software development approaches and semiconductor hardware
- Understanding of industry standards for semiconductors, such as SEMI secsgem
- It will be advantageous to have knowledge of programming languages like Python and VBA.
- Outstanding ability to analyze and solve problems
- Effective teamwork and communication abilities
- An eye for detail and the capacity to work both individually and collaboratively
