Responsibilities:
- Liaise with in-house partners, and any other related departments.
- Evaluate and understand new technologies developed by fundamental research laboratories.
- Conduct and evaluate for market research and product research.
- Develop new formulations and prototypes suitable for market in Asia Pacific.
- Conduct trials & investigation in order to maintain & resolve quality issues.
- Seek opportunities on any potential collaborations with third parties in Asia Pacific
- Manage and lead project independently.
- Survey market trends of plant-based foods in Asia Pacific and share information with interested parties.
- Keep up to date with latest R&D and production process/equipment developments.
- Discuss with production & sales on new product development such as production capabilities, cost settings that potentially can be accepted by markets etc.
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Food Science/Food Technology or related degree
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in food-related industry dealing with cream & margarine, oils & fats and plant-based foods.
- Equipped with knowledge & understanding of raw material & their functions.
- Meticulous, good communication skills and organisational skills
- Able to work well independently and in a team
