The incumbent will be working as an Air Export Executive. S/he will process/execute documentation required for Air shipments and liaise with shipper, destination, Commercial, Ground handling agents.
Responsibilites:
- Execute/prepare documentation (Mawb, Hawb, Manifest, COO)
- Cargo labeling
- Enter cost and revenue in the Kewill system
- Link customer EDI (if required) in the Kewill system
- Update customer with flight details and POD for Door-to-Door shipments
- Send e-mail pre-alert to respective destination stations
- Post Kewill system pre-alert to respective destination stations
- Follow-up with destinations stations for POD for Door-to-Door shipments
- Update mandatory milestones in Kewill track and trace
- At times will require to lift/shift cartons for cargo labeling
- View physical cargo to determine if any re-packing is required
- At times will require to travel to a customer location or work in another location
- Follow-up with carriers / co-loaders for any off-loading+
- To perform any other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline
- Good working knowledge of MS Office applications – Outlook, Excel, Word
- Minimum 3 years of working experience in Air freight forwarding operations
- Good working experience in air cargo clearance permit declarations
- DG Certification would be an added advantage
- 5.5 days (Alternate Saturday, 0830hrs to 1230hrs and 1300hrs to 1700hrs)
- Willing to work at Changi Airport Cargo
- Willing to work weekday rotation shift (afternoon shift from 1300hrs to 2200hrs, 1500hrs to 2400hrs once a month for a week)
