DESIGN & COORDINATION ENGINEER
Responsibilities
· Coordinate design drawings with consultants to comply with requirements of the authorities
· Review and provide solutions to technical problems as well as plan, monitor and report shop drawing production progress
· Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods and C&S shop drawings
· Resolve construction issues on drawings and liaise closely with Architectural and M&E teams as well as the authorities
· Supervise a team of BIM Modelers for the production of coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans
Requirements
· Possess a Degree in Civil/ Structural Engineering with relevant design working experience with contractors
· Preferably a Professional Engineer registered with the Professional Engineers Board, Singapore
· At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
· Be conversant in British & Singapore Design Standards
· Be independent, analytical, highly motivated with excellent team spirit and interpersonal skills
· Preferably from consultancy firms
