Role Overview: As a Senior Exhibit Designer, you will closely collaborate with the team to conceptualize, coordinate, and integrate content, exhibits, graphics, and media concepts into the overall physical requirements of the space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Design Director.
- Collaborate with exhibit and graphic designers to develop designs, including interactive experiences and 3-D exhibit elements, from the conceptual stage through final drawings.
- Produce comprehensive drawing packages from concept to final design.
- Manage workflow in alignment with project schedules, handling various projects, tasks, and deadlines.
- Work within a dynamic team environment, engaging with subcontractors, clients, and other collaborators.
- Contribute to conceptual development and illustrate design concepts using various mediums, including hand sketches and computer renderings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Exhibition Design or Interior Design with a minimum of 3 years of experience in exhibit design or a related field.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, or 3D Max, and ideally with Adobe CS Suite.
- Demonstrated expertise in multiple phases of the design process, covering conceptualization, design development, construction documentation, and the fabrication/installation process.
- Sound knowledge of fabrication techniques and material standards within exhibit design.
- Excellent communication skills, encompassing verbal, written, and illustrative abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
