· Position: Junior Accountant
· Location: North Bridge Road
· Working hours: Monday to Friday (9.30am - 6pm)
· Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,000 + Performance Bonus

Main Responsibilities:
· Perform day-to-day accounting activities related to commodities, futures, and forward hedging transactions
· Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with IFRS guidelines
· Prepare and review financial statements, reports, and analyses related to commodities and hedging activities
· Monitor and reconcile commodity trading positions and related financial instruments
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse data for financial reporting purposes
· Work closely with internal and external auditors to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and accounting principles related to commodities and hedging activities
· Provide support in the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
Requirements:
· Bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Chinese clients who can converse in Mandarin only
· Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
· Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on commodities and futures/forward hedging transactions
· Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in presenting financial information in an IFRS compliant format
· Proficient in using accounting software including MYOB and MS Office applications
