XCL World Academy is seeking to recruit experienced Early & Primary Years Teacher to teach students across various subject disciplines. This is a full time contract position starting from 1 August 2024.
Preference will be given to teachers who have relevant IB experience, as well as a clear track record of teaching in international school settings.
Main Responsibilities
- Teachers should be willing to contribute positively to the collaborative culture of the School.
- Demonstrate professional ethics, international mindedness and the school’s mission.
- Adhere cooperatively to XCL policies and regulations, including duties, deadlines, programme requirements (IB).
- Seek clarification in case of lack of clarity in order to fully meet all expectations of the role and set and maintain consistently high standards.
- Contribute to the development of curriculum and assessment documentation.

Person Specifications
- Preferred minimum 2 years of relevant IB programme experience from International School
- Undergraduate degree from a recognized university or college
- Teacher professional certification specific to applied position
- Possess skills and attitudes aligned to the purpose, mission and vision of XCL World Academy (Singapore)
- Need clear eagerness, resilience and understanding to engage and collaborate in the development of a highly aspirational school
- Have a demonstrated commitment to education and learning beyond the classroom.
- Be flexible and willing to take on new challenges
