THE OPPORTUNITY
Gearing up for the next growth stage, Janio is looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating outbound pipeline opportunities that will help grow and expand our business. The role will involve working closely with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential clients, and execute sales strategies that will help convert leads into customers.
THE ROLE
- Identify and qualify new sales leads through research, networking, and outbound sales calls
- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop leads into new business opportunities
- Conduct market research to identify potential customers and their needs, and provide recommendations to the sales and marketing teams on how to capitalize on these opportunities
- Participate in trade shows, industry events and network with potential clients to promote Janio's services
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and quotas
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all sales activity and customer interactions
THE REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in outbound sales and business development
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that allow you to quickly establish rapport with new customers
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks
- Results-driven approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
