Supervisor, Security
You will assist the Residence Manager in overseeing the daily security operations in our Serviced Residence. You will also monitor the performance of the Security Team to enhance the security and surveillance of the building, ensuring that it adheres to the necessary regulations. You will report directly to the Residence Manager.
Responsibilities
You will:
- Assist to review standards according to operating procedures and provide support in preparing operational reports to the Management
- Promote teamwork and quality service within the team and coordination with the other departments
- Account for the security, safety and fire safety of the premise and all personnel and assets within
- Implement and administer security, safety, loss control, key control, fire safety procedures
- Evaluate and make recommendations to enhance security and fire safety procedures in the various departments
- Investigate and prepare incident reports on any occurrence or event associated with fire, damage, threats and disruption
- Gather information concerning the security and safety of the Service Residence
- Make recommendations with regards to security, safety, fire safety equipment and CCTV and the installation of such equipment
- Collaborate with the Human Resource Team to educate all employees on security and fire safety procedures
- To take on additional specific engineering duties such as:
- - Perform routine daily inspection for some M&E equipment.
- - Perform preventive maintenance works.
- - Perform checkout and arrival room inspection
- Perform related tasks as assigned
Job Requirements
You have:
- At least 3 years of relevant security related experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory capacity
- Attained at least a WSQ Advanced Certificate in Security Supervision or an equivalent qualification
- Completed the Fire Safety Management course by Fire Safety Managers’ Association (FSMAS)
- Possess a valid individual Security License issued by the Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD)
- Knowledge in keycard system, Vingcard or Safflock and handling fire protection system
- Fluent in verbal and written English
- Supervisory skills
- Passion for coaching and guiding
- Willingness to perform shifts
