About AMILI:
AMILI is Southeast Asia’s first and only precision gut microbiome company. Founded by academic doctors and scientists, our aim is to advance microbiome research and apply this knowledge to improve human health. AMILI houses Southeast Asia’s first and only gut microbiome transplant bank and is building up the world’s largest multi-ethnic Asia gut microbiome database. We perform advanced gut microbiome sequencing for service and research purposes and develop these insights into products and services. We also support partners in validating the gut health effects of their products, along with co-developing gut health-friendly products.
Foods and ingredients are increasingly recognized to play beneficial roles beyond basic nutrition, with positive effects on the gut microbiome being particularly sought after by consumers. AMILI is seeking driven and collaborative individuals based in Singapore who will be heavily involved in our growth trajectory as we promote gut health here and in the region. AMILI is seeking a Project Manager based in Singapore as we continue our growth journey in Singapore and the region. This role will report to Director, Food for Health.
Roles and Responsibilities:
What you will be doing:
1. Spearhead Implementation of key new revenue-generating consumer projects –
- Coordinates define project tasks and resource requirements
- Manage project budget and resources
- Manage schedule project timelines and track project deliverables
- Provide direction and support to project team to successfully execute the project and to handle customer complaints and queries.
- Manage internal and external stakeholders verbal and written follow-up and reporting
2. Support in gut microbiome food-related laboratory and product development
3. Equip with up-to-date requirements of food regulations and ensure compliance in designing products
4. Stay abreast of new food ingredients and technologies, trends, and innovation, as well as processing and equipment advances relative to key CGP categories
What you will need:
- Minimum Master in Food Technology /Nutrition, Biotechnology, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Food Science and Technology, or related fields
- More than 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience or knowledge in microbiology and/or molecular biology laboratory techniques
- Independent, pro-active and thrive in a fast pace and dynamic environment
- Strong logical thinking, analytical, organisational and communication skills
- Fluency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
What is good to have:
- Experience using R and/or Prism for data analysis
