Purpose of the role:
Enhance Regional Governance through;1) ensuring HO functions to be mindful and aware of actualities of branches 2) navigating various parties to give shapes to their initiatives and promote/implement their functions and goals 3) monitoring functionalities of existing frameworks and improving them as necessary.
Job Responsibilities:
- Ensure/support implementation of the Bank’s global/regional initiatives/projects associated with risk, compliance, financial crime, regulatory affairs, systems, and/or facilities in APAC branches
- Ensure the Bank’s stable and sustainable operations through budget management with regard to systems and facilities in APAC branches
- Ensure the Bank’s operation/activities in the face/midst of COVID-19
- Adherence to compliance
Job Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in corporate banking or Strategic planning within the banking industry.
- Minimum JLPT N1 Certification, a degree from a Japanese university or equivalent required to effectively communicate with Japanese stakeholders and senior management in Tokyo Head Office and across APAC on strategic planning activities
- Good communication skills, analytical ability and logical thinking
