The Business Applications Manager will be responsible of Finance, Supply Chain, HR applications mainly based on SAP solutions (S/4/Hana, SuccessFactors, CONCUR, AFO, IBP, BO), for APAC region (HR system only SEAP).
You will serve as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders, working closely with finance & supply teams in the region, and HR team in Singapore. You will also be in permanent contact with our Central IT Teams to align on the priorities and roadmaps.
Apart from identifying business system opportunities, you will consult and lead a team of IT professionals to deliver a wide range of business systems projects.
You will manage priorities between business demand and IT resources for program management, and you will drive end-to-end initiatives from business case to follow through on user adoption, evolutions and operations when solution is implemented. In addition, you will analyzenew trends on best practice systems and processes, and drive innovation.
You will align technology solutions with business strategies, manage solutions, service, risk as well as champion change management activities.
Responsibilities:
-Understand and maintain the Business (Finance, Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, T&E, and HR) and Reporting systems like SAP ERP (Cap One), SAP Concur, TIE Kinetix, Readsoft, BPC Embedded, Analysis for Office, K2 Forms, ScanTrust, …. setups and core model in the Asia Region (SNAP, GTR), in line with Group requirements.
-Understand and maintain Business Applications and mainly SAP Cap One applications (SAP ERP, related reporting, Concur, EDI, Readsoft, AFO) for Greater China Region.
-Monitor and identify business risks, inefficiencies, issues and opportunities related to Business Application, and enhance business productivity with a Core model approach through release cycles.
-Provide technical & functional directions, implement functional changes, maintain core solutions, manage future development.
-Propose and validate, along with the IT Director and Group IT, the configuration changes proposed by the IT specialist within the SAP ERP (Cap One) and other Business applications.
-Coordinate, prioritize, manage, and implement, when validated, configuration changes in Business applications.
-Lead and manage Business applications projects throughout full life cycle: from study to completion & support. By leading a project, you act as project manager in Business applications related projects (develop work plans, manage deadlines, coordinate project team, risk management, budget, etc…).
-Recommend application capabilities and solutions that best meet business needs.
-Manage the Business applications team based in Singapore and one resource in doted-line based in China.
-Collaborate with business partners and cross-function IT teams to supports the global IT landscape to deliver value with a focus on applications used in the finance functions.
-Understand business processes, to identify and collaborate on business process requirements & improvements.
-Contribute to Business Processes documentation with Business Owners.
-Document the IT projects and make sure the documentation is up-to-date with corrections/evolutions.
-Manage external vendors, ensuring that SLA has been adhered to.
-Manage and update user profiles, roles & authorizations in Business applications.
-Strong contribution to Finance & Supply IT communities in coordination with Central IT.
-Train/Organize the knowledge transfer to other team members, users and stakeholders as required.
-Manage and work on support tickets created by users when the request is related to Business applications.
-Other duties and projects as assigned to support the team.
Requirement:
•At least 6 / 9 years of IT experience with responsibilities in project management, ERP implementation.
•Knowledge of SAP Solutions
•Past experience of SAP FI Consultant.
•Demonstrated ability to apply information technology in solving business problems.
•Good communication and leadership skills with ability to manage and communicate with different stakeholders.
•Have worked in complexorganizationwith doted-line reporting.
