Roles & Responsibilities:
The Emergency Veterinarian
- Be a part of a caring and passionate ECC team.
- Work only 3 shifts a week and achieve the good work life
- balance.
- Enjoy the benefits of working alongside specialists with ability to transfer cases to specialist services.
- Deliver the highest level of veterinary care during the emergency shift including management of ICU patients.
- Performing complete diagnostic workups not limited to radiography, AFAST, TFAST, clinical pathology and developing thorough treatment plans.
- Address and resolve client concerns arising from the medical care of their pet/s.
- Demonstrate good teamwork with clinic team, peers, and hospital managers.
- Practise high level of veterinary medicine including medical, surgical, communication and leadership skills.
- Perform emergency surgeries if needed with appropriate anaesthesia, monitoring, and pain management.
- Charge for services rendered and products/prescriptions dispensed.
- Constantly strives to enhance the quality and efficiency of care provided in the emergency and critical care department.
- Other assigned duties.
Requirements:
- Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM/VMD) or equivalent degree required.
- Singapore veterinary license in good standing or eligibility for Singapore vet licensure
- Minimum of five years relevant professional veterinarian experience in a veterinary clinic
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task and be responsive in a fast paced work environment.
