This role will lead a team in the planning, implementing and operationalising of programmes under Foundations in Clinical Practice (FCP). In addition, this role will help to establish, review and streamline the existing administrative processes and ensure continual improvement of the FCP programmes.
The responsibilities of this role are:
- Lead team in planning, implementing and operationalising the following FCP Programmes:Polyclinic Placements
Family Physicians (FP) Placements
Communication with Patients (CWP)
Physical Examinations (PE)
History & Clinical Reasoning (HCR)
Community Selectives
Procedural Skills
4-week Hospital Posting
- Lead team in planning, implementing and operationalising the Longi-tudinal Patient Experience Programme (LPE)Support in the planning and developing of Longitudinal Patient Experience programme with directors from Medicine, Nursing, Pharmacy and Dental
Oversee the organising, implementaing and providing on-site support for students and tutors briefing sessions and workshops
Recruit health clusters’ and General Practitioners tutors
Plan the allocation of students’ groupings and allocation of tutors
Oversee the creation of learning events, assignments and feedback events on Entrada (learning management system) and feedback portal
Track FPs’ teaching hours and ensure that they achieve the stipulated hours as per their appointment
Manage LPE email account to answer students and tutors’ enquiries
Generate tutors and students’ feedback reports for faculty review
Verify and confirm tutors’ teaching activities for disbursement of PECT to teaching partners
- .Support in developing a pipeline of new and young educators to support the Division’s Education missionSupport in determining PECT funding that Department is eligible to receive, determine teaching needs and work out an allocation of funds to appoint adjuncts and part time tutors
Track and maintain database of adjuncts and part time tutors to ensure timely appointments, reappointments and lapse of appointments
Track adjuncts and part time tutors’ teaching hours and ensure that they achieve the stipulated hours as per their appointment
Collate documents for processing of new FM appointments. Liaise with Academic Affairs for the new and renewal of FM appointment matters
Prepare faculty’s teaching scores for management’s review
- Other Undergraduate Education WorkSecretariat duties (planning agenda, collating slides, scheduling and taking minutes) for bimonthly undergraduate education meetings
Support in organising department activities and events
Onsite support for department undergraduate teaching activities
The ideal candidate will need to have the following qualities and experience:
- Degree in Business Management / Administration
- Experience in leading a team to manage administrative and operations matters pertaining to implementing undergraduate programmes in a University setting
- Team player with ability to work independently
- Meticulous with an eye for detail
- Resourceful, excellent in communication (written and oral) and organisational skills
- Possess creativity in making things happen
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Application (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Professional and adaptable to a fast-paced environment
