Job Description:
Under the direction of the Section Lead, the role involves coordinating and developing engineering proposal activities and deliverables, encompassing engineering manhour estimation, engineering schedule creation, and material take-off across various engineering disciplines.
Core Responsibilities:
- Develop winning strategies and tactics in collaboration with the Proposal Manager.
- Lead and guide engineering proposal activities, preparing deliverables in cooperation with Engineering Section Leads.
- Address regulatory issues affecting engineering proposal works, ensuring compliance with engineering quality, cost, and risk requirements, as well as policies.
- Check and clarify the allocation of necessary resources for proposal work, coordinating with Section Leads to ensure well-planned project assignments.
- Coordinate with Engineering Section Leads to confirm the readiness of engineering tools and software, facilitating engineers in meeting project expectations.
- Lead the review and improvement of work systems and processes for increased productivity and competitiveness. This includes introducing new technology/methods, raising professional standards, and acquiring better equipment.
- Review, update, and enhance engineering proposal practices, ensuring appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
Requirements
- Educational Qualification:Minimum Bachelor or Master of Engineering.
- Certification(s):Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
- Relevant Experience:Minimum 15 years of relevant working experience in the Oil and Gas or FPSO sector.
- Language(s) and Software:Proficiency in English (oral and written), MS Outlook, Team, and MS Office skills.
- Key Behaviors:Act as a change agent with strong credibility and working relationships across all disciplines.
