Risk Management
- Develop, maintain, and update comprehensive Project Risk Register as a true reflection of the Project risk during project stages (Design, Procurement, Construction/T&C)
- To lead/ conduct periodic Risk workshop with the project team for identifying and updating mitigation measures based on actual project status.
- Discussion, submission and follow up of Risk Registers between Consultant and end user.
M&E Lead
- Conceptual design, feasibility study, preliminary and detailed design for site installation of M&E Equipment and Piping Works.
- Review drawings in 2D and 3D BIM
- Review design calculations, specifications & documentation works for submission for consultant approval.
- Lead/support authorities’ consultation and submission
- Manage technical, engineering as well as design related to site matters
- Support and help resolve any site technical difficulties & other that may arise
- Assist Construction/Project Manager in overseeing the daily construction and site coordination of different activities.
- Responsible for preparing, submission and monitoring of technical drawings, method of statements and shop drawings.
- To monitor the progress of work against the baseline schedule & preparation of daily records & monthly site progress reports.
- Responsible for general on-site technical and engineering matters
- Ensure work safe environment at the work site and manage workers.
Requirements
- Degree or Diploma in relevant Water Treatment/ M&E Engineering, shall be qualified and experienced in facilitating risk management with about ten (10) years of experience in construction industry which includes construction management and design experience.
- Must be certified and trained in hazard identification and risk management methodology.
- Able to plan / coordinate site works and resolve drawing details and discrepancies.
- Able to liaise with consutants, subcontractors, and all levels of the Project Team.
- Able to work independently and as a key member of the Site Management.
- Ability to identify potential and occurring problems that affect the schedule of works at site and recommend solutions to relevant team/department.
- Able to work independently and should also be a team player to meet tight project timeline
- Familiar with local authority submission works
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Well-versed in MS Office, familiar with Design tools/ software ( Autocad, Navisworks,Bentley etc)
- Able to travel and work in construction site. (2-way Transport pick-up between designated MRT station and site provided)
- Past experience working on PUB water/wastewater projects will be an advantage
