Responsibilities:
✅Develops new polymeric materials and processes.
✅Consultation to various product groups on materials related issues.
✅Works with internal on engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, quality, reliability issues
✅Apply knowledge to various engineering projects on materials and material processing issues
✅Provide advice for material selection, property data, failure avoidance
✅Develop new polymer compounds via internal mixing, mill mixing or other methods.
✅Support polymeric materials manufacturing processes
✅Provide and troubleshoot polymer manufacturing parameters for production processes
✅Perform failure analysis of polymeric materials for manufacturing processes and perform data analysis
✅Provide material consultation to customers
✅Preparation and maintenance of presentations and other procurement documentation
Requirements:
- Diploma/Degree in Polymer Engineering/Chemical Technology
- Background in Elastomer/Rubber material polymer engineer with 3 years experiences
- Knowledge in measuring roughness and operating Keyence scope
- Ability to find root causes and provide preventive actions to present to customer
