Job Description:

  • Provide Technical Support to Specialty Broking Team

Main Responsibilities:

  • Prepare all the (re)insurance related technical documentation – Evidence of Covers (EOC), Cover Notes (CN) & Addenda.
  • Process the renewal and new risks and endorsements premium and sending of the invoices to the Clients and Underwriters.
  • Attend to the Finance department for receipts of payment reconciliation and unmatched outstanding balances.
  • Handle queries from the Clients, underwriters, and brokers regarding technical matters.
  • Update of the BSX file, GST file and tracking spreadsheets
  • Handle monthly contract certainty submission for the Specialty Department.
  • Ensure proper filing of documentations for easy access by all parties.
  • Perform any other duties as assigned.

Client Service:

  • Provide pro-active service to expedite the production of policies, liaison between all parties.
  • Deal with all client queries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Escalate any potential problems to brokers and/or account executives.

Representing Price Forbes:

  • Champion the Price Forbes name and core values.
  • Represent Price Forbes with clients, agents, suppliers and other organisations.

Compliance:

  • Comply with relevant legal, regulatory and Price Forbes and Ardonagh compliance requirements, E&O compliance procedures and quality initiatives.
  • Escalation of any potential E&O's to Division Head / Directors and/or senior managers at the earliest opportunity.
  • Ensure completion of all mandatory Company training within set deadline.

Essentials:

  • ‘A’ level/Diploma holder or equivalent.
  • Minimum 2 years relevant Insurance technical support experience.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize own workload.
  • Ability to work under pressure without supervision.
  • Collaborative team working approach.
  • Ability to work with employees at all organizational levels.
  • Ability to develop and sustain relationships with both internal and external parties.
  • Accurate and attentive to details.
  • Good written and verbal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook (email).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
