We are looking for a Senior Account Manager
We are looking for an exceptionally motivated and responsible Senior Account Manager with at least 6+ years of client management experience in an agency. The Senior Account Manager is responsible for proactively engaging the clients through end-to-end project management and driving the growth of revenue from current clients and new businesses. Your existing portfolio ideally includes clients from the healthcare / beauty FMCG industry.
CLIENT/ STAKEHOLDER ENGAGEMENT
- Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor with senior clients
- Independently lead meetings with clients and internal stakeholders and ensure projects are led in a productive direction
- Strengthen client relationships to ensure retention and growth by delivering outstanding work/output through understanding the client’s business, challenges and what their competitive threats in the market
- Ensure clear and accurate briefs are taken from clients, identify potential client issues and problems at an early stage, brief all involved stakeholders and manage the project/ campaign
- Able to hold difficult conversation with client and find a suitable solution
- Respected by clients and Grey’s network and has solid working relationships with all levels within the company
- Integrate internal multi-disciplined teams within Grey who are working on the account
STRATEGIC AND INNOVATIVE THINKING
- Prepare and present information/briefs/ideas in an articulate, compelling and clear manner
- Plan and actively support the development of the strategic direction for the assigned client accounts
COMMERCIAL ACUMEN
- Play a lead role in project scope negotiation with clients with support from the commercial finance
- Be responsible for the accounts’ profitability, regularly review and provide accurate phasing of budget to ensure forecast and capacity/resource reports are accurate
NEW BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
- Take accountability to effectively manage and grow set revenue targets and ensure cost effectiveness across the team
OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE
- Manage the delivery of all aspects of the campaigns/ creative work – ensure work are delivered based on set timelines and agreed costs
Requirements
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Degree in any discipline with minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in marketing/digital/advertising agency preferably with exposure to Regional markets
- Ability to assess market information, clients’ brief, strategic input from other departments to develop effective communication recommendations and programmes
- Strong project management and follow-through skills
- Strong aptitude for building partner relationships
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure, adapt to changes and meet tight deadlines
- Result and detail-oriented, self-motivated. Highly organized with an ability to multi-task well
- Ability to work within and foster an open culture, practice collaborative communication and drive our collective ambition in applying creativity to solve business problems
