This role is the strategic business partner to the senior leaders of AP regional functions to develop strategies and initiatives to enhance organisational efficiency and effectiveness. This role will work in partnership with business unit People & Capability Business Partners (BU PBPs) to translate the global people strategies to determine AP regional priorities, initiatives, projects across all people areas, including organisational design and development, resourcing, talent acquisition, cultural change, talent management development and succession planning, total rewards, and employee relations.

This role sits on the Asia Pacific People Leadership team (AP PLT) and is based in Singapore.

Key accountabilities of the role:

  • Partner with cross-functionally with business unit executives, business unit PBPs (BU PBPs) and P&C COE teams to provide strategic direction related to organisational design, talent acquisition, succession management, talent management and development, employee relations matters, resource planning, compensation and benefits, and performance management.
  • Build and develop leadership capabilities, to improve leadership, succession, and people management effectiveness through coaching, identifying programs and facilitating team sessions to raise the bar on performance.
  • Partners with the BU PBPs, divisional and location PBPs to provide in-depth context and insight to inform talent related initiatives to address complex global, regional, local, and enterprise-wide changes and demands.
  • Act as a change agent to drive culture change, to meet longer term business goals, strategies, and revenue targets.
  • Support the senior leaders in delivering strategic initiatives, cultural change, communications strategies, and management of the matrix structure.
  • Offer thought leadership regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution. Provide insightful data to guide decision making and provide proactive solutions.
  • Solve problems and get to the root cause of any issue, no matter how complex, and design and quickly implement solutions that cut across multiple disciplines, even those beyond people and organizational solutions.
  • Qualifications and Competencies:

The knowledge and skills necessary to perform the duties of this position are typically acquired through the following combination of education, experience and knowledge, or the equivalent.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Extensive human resources experience in a highly matrixed, international commercial context, covering a variety of areas such as talent development and management, organisational development, and change management.
  • Tertiary qualification in business, human resources, psychology, or related discipline would be advantageous nut not essential.
