Job Description:-
To ensure that the contractor co-ordinates the works of various contractors
To agree to detailed programmes of work-time chart and representation of site plans
To check that all necessary drawings and instruction have been given to contractors and authorization obtained, in accordance with the agreed programme
To check that materials are ordered in good time and permits obtained
To check that all construction works are carried out in a safe manner, and that the site is kept secure
To watch for faulty workmanship and materials incorporated in the works and to issue instructions for rectification
To check and line and level of layout of structure during erection and that intentions of "contract" drawings are adhered to
To check structural slab, beem and column sizes and reinforcements placed and that intent of designs are followed
Requirements:-
Recognised Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering with valid RE Accreditation Certificate from IES
Must have at least 8 yrs of post graduate experience respectively in supervising building projects. Applicants with both design and supervision experience as R.E. will be favourably considered
Fully conversant with Building Contract Act and Regulations. Able to administer contracts professionally, maintain site records and contract documents systematically, so as to meet reporting requirements under Building Control Act
Extensive experience in the supervision of deep basement construction, preferably top down construction, bored pile systems, pre cast concrete and structural steel construction
Must have Structural Steel Supervisory Cert
Contract duration: 30 months
Location: PIE near St Andrew's Village
Project: PCN (Park Connector Network)
Able to start work by 1 Mar 2024
