My client is the leading distributor of spare parts for diesel engine in Asia.
Key responsibilities
- On-board Inspection: Perform on-board inspection to report engine oil performance when necessary
- Building and establishing connections with OEMs and ship companies
- Maintain and grow close working relationships with ship owner/operators
- Steward new and existing field trial contracts with ship owner/operators
- Deliver marine field trial projects and technical collaborations with external partners
skills & experience required
You are welcome to apply if you meet the following requirements
- Degree / Diploma in marine engineering or equivalent
- Chief / second engineer licensed will be a plus
- Min 10 years as a seafarer or similar role
- Knowledge on engine component rating, measurement techniques and oil and fuel analytical techniques will be a plus
- Understand international shipping regulations and shipping industry trends
- Strong interaction with 2 stroke & 4 stroke engine OEMs of marine engineers
