The business mainly in the Semiconductor and Electronics industries and have also started expanding the business into the food and textile industries and are expanding their business further into Southeast Asia, Oceania, and South Asia.
As a member of Electronics Business Division, you will be responsible to assist in planning and implementing sales to specific major accounts to retain clients' business and grow those opportunities. This will be accomplished by learning what clients' goals and helping clients to achieve them.
Cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, and account management skills are critical for this role. This is a transitional role that is focused on learning and practicing relationship and account management skills.
Responsibilities:
- Manage existing customers and develop new business (Asia Pacific).
- Develop sales strategies for assigned products together with the Manager and execute them.
- Compile market intelligence reports.
- Analyse competitors’ sales activities.
- Prepare reports (meeting minutes, weekly sales reports, forecasts, budgets, variance analyses etc) and PowerPoint presentations for management.
- Manage customer issues (inquiries, feedback e.g.)
Requirements:
- Min. Diploma or Degree in Chemical Engineering/Material Science or related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build and maintain relationships with customers and business associates.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Able to work independently and multi-task.
- Highly sales driven and motivated.
- Willingness to travel (Southeast Asia region).
