Working Hours: 5 days
Basic Up to $5000 + Bonus
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production scheduling
- Evaluate and establish process parameters
- Identify and eliminate sources of failure and to perfect functionality of products
- Define process problems that lead to throughput or quality issues, evaluate cause of problem, implement solutions to stabilize processes, increase production output, reduce production cycle and enhance cost improvement
- Investigate and implement solutions on process or material related problems
- Develop and maintain proper job methods, work instructions, drawings, bill of material etc. for products
- Execute productivity programmes such as process automation, tooling and fixture fabrication or improvement etc.
- Conduct training on equipment operation and maintenance
- Ensure manufacturing objectives are met and initiate continuous improvement activities on product quality, yields and technologies
Qualifications and Experience:
- Possess at least a Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with chemical handling
- Experience in electroplating sector and exposure to Silver Spot plating will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of statistical methods, IATF 16949 and ISO 14001 practices is an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software applications and able to interpret AutoCAD engineering drawing
- Systematic, self-initiative and able to work independently
- Ability to evaluate, diagnose and trouble-shoot problems
