As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, configuration, and maintenance of Cisco ACI fabric components, You will work closely with project teams to support network refresh from existing three-layer model to ACI and ensure the smooth integration of ACI solutions, maintaining network stability, security, and performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network engineering, particularly in Cisco ACI, and will be adept at troubleshooting and optimizing network infrastructures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, and implement Cisco ACI solutions in alignment with business requirements.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to assess network needs and design efficient ACI architectures.
- Configure and manage ACI fabric components such as Spines, Leafs, APIC controllers, and integration with other network devices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues related to ACI fabric, policies, and integrations.
- Monitor and optimize network performance, ensuring adherence to best practices and industry standards.
- Conduct regular maintenance, upgrades, and patches to keep the ACI infrastructure secure and up-to-date.
- Document network configurations, processes, and procedures for future reference and training purposes.
- Provide technical support, guidance to other teams and departments.
- Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in the networking space, making recommendations for improvements or enhancements.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 5+ years of experience as a Network Engineer with a focus on Cisco ACI. Cisco certifications such as CCNP Data Center, Cisco Certified Specialist - ACI, or equivalent certifications are highly desirable.
- Experience on three-layer model to ACI migration is preferred.
- Proficiency in network protocols and technologies (TCP/IP, VLAN, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
- Strong understanding of network security principles and best practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex network issues.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams
- Experience on supporting Firewall(Checkpoint/Palo Alto) and proxy would be an added advantage.
