Roles and Responsibilities
- Participating in daily scrums or standups with other team members to discuss project status and identify any issues that may affect progress
- Communicating with stakeholders to gather requirements for new projects or products
- Collaborating with other team members to design, develop, test, release, and support new products or services
- Writing detailed code that meets coding standards and best practices
- Creating designs for applications and websites that are visually appealing and user friendly
- Providing technical support for an organization’s computer systems, including installing patches and updates
- Recommending and implementing improvements to the development process to increase productivity and efficiency
- Coordinating with members of other departments to ensure that projects meet organizational goals
- Writing automated tests to ensure that all features of a product or service function correctly
Skills and Requirements
- Strong knowledge or experience of coded software testing using Python, or C
- C++, familiar with unit test framework is a strong advantage.
- Experience of creating test plans and test cases based on product requirements.
- Knowledge of source control tools is required – git is preferred.
- Well versed in the full software development lifecycle (Agile practice)
- Ability to work in teams or independently, action-oriented, and possesses strong drive for results
