Royal Ocean Marine, a leading headhunting /recruitment agencies company in the maritime industry based in Singapore, is seeking a Procurement Manager to join the client's team in Singapore. As a Procurement Manager, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process for ship supplies and ensuring timely delivery to vessels. This is a critical role that requires strong negotiation skills, supplier relationship management, and knowledge in maritime industry. Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end procurement process for ship supplies, including sourcing, contract negotiation, and order placement.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with ship suppliers and negotiate favorable terms and pricing.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of ship supplies to vessels.
- Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify potential suppliers and cost-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand ship supply needs and priorities.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and ensure compliance in ship supply procurement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement.
- Strong knowledge of ship supplies and the marine industry.
- Proven experience in supplier management and contract negotiation.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficient in procurement software and MS Office.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
