Main Responsibilities


  • ­ To identify, solicit and prospect new business opportunities with potential revenue for the Guestrooms through phone solicitation, physical sales calls, site inspections, trade shows, sales blitz, email, research via newspapers and online resources.
  • ­ Responsible for managing Corporate (RFP) accounts of the Hotel.
  • ­ To meet and exceed individual assigned sales goal and shared responsibility for the achievement of the department sales budget.
  • ­ Keeps a record on former, existing, potential clients and a profile of each of them.
  • ­ Organizes regular visits in accordance to a predetermined plan.
  • ­ Prepares a tentative monthly schedule to record all sales and other related actives for the preceding month.
  • ­ Presents a summary of his/her visits on a weekly basis (weekly Sales Plan) prior to and after the week is completed.
  • ­ Ensures that the invoicing effectively corresponds to all services agreed upon and rendered.
  • ­ Ensures that all new clients have no negative credit references.
  • ­ Records all daily sales activities and groups in ANAIS.
  • ­ Records the statistics of his/her respective accounts and follow up.
  • ­ Submits production reports on his/her list of accounts on a monthly basis.
  • ­ Be a team player motivating peers in support of department goals in sales and operations.


Requirements

  • ­ Minimum Diploma in Hotel Management and/or Sales & Marketing
  • ­ Min 2 years of relevant experience in handling Corporate Sales
  • ­ Understanding of hotel’s business mix needs
  • ­ Confident, energetic and enthusiastic
  • ­ Ability to present ideas, expectations and information in a concise, well-organized manner.
  • ­ Good customer service skills and relationship management skills
