Position Summary
- To supervise the day shift security operation together with agency security team, such as vessel crew movement, resident and common contractors’ movement.
- To plan and organise the day shift security patrolling.
- To response and proceed to 5JS yard in case of any emergency at day shift.
- To attend the vessel in case of any emergency and security incident
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Ensure professional discharge of security duties and resolve any conflicts arising out of performance of duties at the lowest possible level.
- Responsible for ensuring all security personnel have been properly orientated on security standard operating procedures.
- To assist security supervisor for a smooth daily security operation.
- Maintain strong operational control skills, maintain good relationship and teamwork with outsourced security officers and liaise with outsourced security operation executive to resolve deployment & disciplinary issues.
- Ensure to complete daily security operations paperwork and update accordingly.
· Monitor yard CCTV footage and report to security supervisor if there is any breakdown in the CCTV Cameras.
- Able to cover the duties of the security supervisor in his absence.
- To assist security supervisor for security drills, plan and lead in emergency response based on business, security & safety requirements.
- Prepare daily contractors attendance summary report and email to related department heads.
- To ensure control and supervise outsourced security officers job scope, take immediate corrective action wherever necessary in security operations.
- Prepare ID card/Gangway & confined space passes for yard employees and resident contractors.
- Maintain office door access system, providing door access for new employees ID card and replacement ID card for existing staff.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the Security industries.
- WSQ Security Supervisor certificate.
- Valid Police Licensing and Regulatory Department (PLRD) – Security licence
- Preference to have Marine sector security experiences.
