Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Reporting to Plant manager, to lead a team of supervisors and technicians.
2. To support EPC and startup of equipment for entire plant operations.
3. To enforce process safety and equipment uptime.
4. To ensure proper housekeeping of data and documents.
5. To provide operating, troubleshooting and continuous improvement plan.
6. To optimise manufacturing parameters for yield improvements and equipment utilisation rate.
7. Be able to read and understand P&ID and documentation with good engineering practices and knowledge.
8. Other duties as per required.

Job Requirements

1. Minimum diploma or degree in Engineering, preferably, Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical or equivalent
2. At least 2 to 3 years relevant experience in production plant with project management and equipment troubleshooting skill.
3. Knowledge in operating and maintenance of equipment in production plant.
4. Knowledge in automation control and mechanical servicing of equipment is advantageous.
5. Hands-on skill of mechanical operation of equipment in production plant with basic troubleshooting of equipment failure.
6. A team player, able to work under stress, fast-learner and is safety conscious.
7. Punctual and have positive work attitude.
