Service Desk Analyst

Position Type: Contract, deputed to Client | Work Location: City Hall MRT


Minimum 1 year of experience as a Service Desk with hands on experience in ITSM – ServiceNow.

Provide support to end-users, managing user accounts in different environments, assisting with project management tasks, conducting audits, and preparing reports, handling incident and change requests, and performing basic administration of the ServiceNow tool. The role is crucial in ensuring smooth IT operations and user satisfaction within the specified project. Specifically:

  • Logging/Resolving User Queries: Serve as the first point of contact for users who have issues or queries related to IT services, systems, or applications. They log and track these issues and work towards resolving them.
  • User Administration: Managing user accounts and access permissions for a specific project in different environments (DEV - Development, QA - Quality Assurance). This includes creating, modifying, or deactivating user accounts as needed.
  • Backup to PMO Tasks: Providing support or assistance in Project Management Office (PMO) tasks. This could involve helping with project-related documentation, tracking tasks, or assisting in project management activities.
  • Audit and Operation Report Preparation: Conducting audits to ensure compliance with established processes and preparing operation reports. This involves collecting and analyzing data to provide insights into the performance and efficiency of IT services.
  • IR/SR/CR Administration and Alerting: Managing Incident Requests (IR), Service Requests (SR), and Change Requests (CR). This includes handling the administration of these requests and setting up alerts or notifications for critical incidents or changes.
  • Basic Administration of ServiceNow: Basic administration involves tasks such as assigning tickets, creating new user profiles, and managing the overall functionality of the tool.
