Job Description
- Assist in the daily operation, requirements and preparation of food accordingly to standard recipes.
- Prepare mis-en-place, cut, cook, and arrange food as instructed.
- Control cost by minimizing spoilage, wastage and exercising portion control.
- Maintain food standard, hygiene and exercise portion control at all times.
- Clean refrigerators, works tables, etc to ensure working area is clean at all times and report any malfunction of equipment.
- Ensure high standards of food preparation, quality and consistency.
- Follow proper Kitchen Standard Operating Procedures.
Job Requirements
1. Diploma in Culinary Skills
2. Certification in Food Hygiene is necessary.
3. At least 1 to 2 years of relevant working experience in the same capacity.
4. Passion for food, creative and result orientated.
5. Positive attitude.
6. Able to work weekends and public holidays.
