Job Description:
Lead and manage the tender bid process:
- Identify and research relevant tenders within our target market.
- Develop compelling and competitive bid proposals aligned with tender requirements.
- Manage all aspects of the bid submission process, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Participate in pre-qualification meetings and presentations.
Prospect for new clients:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify potential clients.
- Develop and implement targeted prospecting strategies.
- Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers.
- Generate qualified leads and convert them into new business opportunities.
Maintain and strengthen existing client relationships:
- Provide ongoing support and service to existing clients.
- Identify and address client needs and concerns proactively.
- Cross-sell and upsell additional services.
- Negotiate contract renewals and ensure client satisfaction.
Contribute to the overall development and execution of the business development strategy:
- Analyze market trends and identify new growth opportunities.
- Participate in business development planning and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve common goals.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Proven track record of success in tender bid management.
- Excellent knowledge of procurement processes and tender requirements.
- Strong prospecting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
