Job Requirements
- Working closely with both development and operations teams is essential for aligning efforts, streamlining processes, and ensuring the platform meets its availability and security goals.
- Using automation tools and scripting languages like Shell and Python, as well as configuration management tools like Ansible and Terraform, to automate manual tasks reduces the risk of human error and accelerates project delivery.
- Collaborate with development, infrastructure, data center, system integration teams to define Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes in accordance with industry standards.
- Design Build and Release routines to ensure high availability, scalability, security and resiliency.
- Lead the implementation and configuration of different DevOps Tools and operational automation processes.
- Identify, diagnose and resolve pipeline bottlenecks, build failures and other issues in different environments.
- Handling client issues within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and collaborating with the team to deliver effective solutions demonstrates a commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Regular monitoring, backup, deployment automation, and maintenance of platform components are critical for ensuring high availability and reliability.
- Continuously identify opportunities to incorporate best practices in automation, optimization and new efficiencies.
Requirements
- Must have experience in application hosting infrastructure with hybrid infrastructure, cloud and on premises with VMware, Azure, AWS and GCP.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills are essential for working cohesively with cross-functional teams and contributing to a positive team environment.
- Being self-motivated indicates a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement, which is valuable in a DevOps role.
- Resources must be able to work independently, will need to travel to the customer data center as and when needed to deploy codes & help with troubleshooting.
- Must have excellent interpersonal & stakeholders management skills to update resolution issues or deployment update.
- Expertise in Agile Methodologies.
