AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Shopify Development:
· Design, develop, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites, ensuring optimal performance, responsiveness,
and user experience.
· Customize and extend Shopify themes and templates based on project requirements.
· Implement new features and functionalities using Shopify Liquid programming language.
· Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
Front-End Development:
· Develop responsive and cross-browser-compatible front-end interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
· Implement designs accurately and ensure a seamless user experience.
· Optimize website performance and troubleshoot front-end issues.
Back-End Development:
· Build and maintain server-side applications and databases.
· Integrate third-party APIs and services to enhance website functionality.
· Ensure the security and integrity of data by implementing best practices in back-end development
Technical Leadership:
· Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in Shopify development and e-commerce.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success.
Testing and Debugging:
· Conduct thorough testing of applications to identify and fix bugs and issues.
· Collaborate with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
· Minimum of 3 years of experience as Full Stack Developer with a focus on Shopify Development.
· Strong proficiency in Shopify Liquid programming language.
· Proven track record in the site developer role in the eCommerce fashion apparel industry.
· Proven experience as a sole contributor to Shopify site development. In charge of the full development
project and ability to create simple adaptations of the design provided.
· Good understanding of User Experience, mobile-first optimisation and site design.
· Ability to utilize SEO best practices from the site developer's perspective.
· Strong communication and collaboration abilities to collaborate with in-house teams and external agencies.
· Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
