Responsibilities
- Responsible for providing technical advice on the most efficient and cost-effective materials management Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Making decisions on best practices in the industry and environmental requirements for the disposal of deteriorated and polluted materials
- Manage line approval for production following intra-product line clearing and cleaning.
- Manage investigations with the Quality department if line clearance and cleaning findings are anomalous.
- In partnership with the Quality and Validation department, oversee the creation of SOPs for the calibration and setup of production equipment.
- Determine technological changes that may be made to manufacturing equipment to increase operational efficiency.
- Examine manufacturing routines to improve efficiency. Create technological solutions to production bottlenecks, inefficiencies, or aberrations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Pharmacy or equivalent
- At least 6 - 8 years of production/ manufacturing operations, preferably from healthcare or pharmaceutical industry
- Familiar with GMP and GDP environment/ standards
