This position is a coverage role purposed to (i) broaden and deepen NBFIs and Institutional Investors’ relationships, newthe FIG business development and active credit management of existing portfolio (with a focus on non-bank financial institutions (NBFIs) (ii) deliveringdeliver solutions to insurers, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds and other NBFI clients by working with the relevant internal stakeholders and product officers (iii) discuss innovative financing solutions, hedging and active credit management of the existing portfolio (iv) ensure risks and compliance are managed (ivv) align with overall Financial Institutions business strategy and mid-term plan to deliver results. The ideal candidate should have relevant experience and a strong working knowledge of fundcorporate finance and capital markets, hedging, and other businesses with non-bank financial institutions (NBFI).NBFIs. This position reports into Head of FI and NBFI, Singapore.
Job Responsibilities:
- To contribute to the overall FIFIG relationship strategy and business plans by delivering solutions to develop FI-related businesses such as financing, debt capital markets, hedging, cash clearing, trade, and treasury, debt capital markets and hedging
- Collaborate with the team to provide comprehensive coverage of NBFIs and work closely with the Institutional Investors. sector coverage team
- To drive incremental revenue from new clients, new products and new initiatives in order to achieve country revenue targets
- To actively identify, develop and promote new business and relationship management with client groups in cross selling a healthy product mix
- To ensure accounts plans are maintained, fit for execution and regularly reviewed
- Support Head of Business in preparation of pitch materials, client strategy, research and analysis, internal approvals, and reporting requirements
- Responsible for deal execution to ensure smooth documentation process, processing of transactions and delivery of services
- Introduce clients to MUFG affiliates and partner banks; explore new opportunities and leverage our global strength as One MUFG
- Ensure adherence to all Regional/ Country Risk and Compliance requirements and the prevailing Regulations
- Stay updated on market trends and industry developments
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or related field.
- Minimum 6 years of experience in a FIG coverage role capacity in a Bank or Financial Institution
- Experience in fund finance andfinancing, capital markets, hedging instruments
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills
- Strong stakeholder management skills to collaborate with other departments
- In-depth knowledge of corporate banking products and services
- Proactive and self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow
