Summary of Role
Cognizant is looking for an senior and experience consulting lead focusing on Insurance industry for the ASEAN market. The individual should come with strong consulting background in Insurance. He or she will be a trusted advisor to our insurance clients on their platform and digital transformation journey.
Role Responsibilities
▪ Engage with Insurance clients on their most important and challenging business and technology issues - addressing and solving their priority problems
▪ Closely work with clients in conceptualizing and implementing transformational solutions that is aligned towards their strategic goals
▪ Advise and provide solutions to improve Business KPI’s, Processes and Operating models
▪ Define and drive ‘As Is’ and ‘To Be’ process/operating model discussions
▪ Build strong relationship at CXO levels
▪ Support project team in constructing business case and benefits realization plan, analyzing the proposed solution to deliver the desired business outcome and associated project costs
▪ Provide client-centric consulting solutions; coaching and guiding senior client stakeholders on complex technology-related business issues
▪ Perform role of Insurance Business Architect, own and build business solution for large deals / pursuits and to present solutions / proposals to clients
▪ Work with market teams in building ASEAN Market strategy for Insurance
▪ Evaluate Insurance market trends and build eco system of partnership for Insurance
▪ Sell and deliver consulting and business analysis engagements for Insurance
▪ Drive and Build domain assets and reusable consulting framework for the market
▪ Drive consulting and requirement workshops
▪ Drive thought leadership initiatives for the Market and build mindshare through Publications, Industry conferences and seminars
▪ Build and manage Insurance Consulting practice for the market
Skills & Experience
▪ Proven experience, Min 12 yrs in consulting, project delivery, business architecture, managing relationships at senior levels within top listed Insurers - in areas such as digital, platform and processes
▪ Strong background in Insurance Sector (From a Strategic, Operational and Technology perspective)
▪ Strong experience in ASEAN Insurance markets
▪ Experience in handling major LOB’s of Insurance – Life, P&C, Re-insurance and Health
▪ A strong track record leading client advisory, technology selection and solutioning and a hands-on role in leading complex transformation engagements
▪ Experience in Insurance COTS product consulting including fit-gap assessment, roadmap, data migration and implementation
▪ Experience in consulting and execution of digital transformation programs
▪ Experience in building business solution and lead the transformation track for opportunities
▪ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, ability to build strong relationships with a range of clients at executive leadership level
▪ Experience in selling and delivering consulting assignments
▪ Possess leading Industry certification in Insurance
▪ Possess people management skills including driving team’s performance, mentoring teams and build strong Insurance practice
▪ Exceptional quantitative, analytical, and financial modelling skills
