About the Role
As a Dosimetrist, you will be working with a multidisciplinary team of Radiation Oncologist, Medical Physicist, Radiation Therapist and Oncology Nurses within Division of Radiation Oncology to deliver the best care for patients undergoing Radiation Treatment.
Key Responsibilities
• Work closely with radiation oncology team to create high quality 3D conformal, IMRT, VMAT external beam treatment plans, and export approved plans to treatment R&V system in a timely manner.
• Participates in weekly audit meetings
• Review and establish treatment planning protocols and quality improvement projects.
• Provide teaching and continue education to students and junior members of department
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Department
Job Responsibilities
• Bachelor Degree in Radiotherapy with 5 years’ experience in radiation therapy planning
• Proficient with 3DCRT, IMRT, VMAT external beam planning
• Experience on Eclipse TPS , Raystation and Mosaiq R&V system preferred.
• Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) from the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB) in USA or Medical Physics Certification preferred
