Job Description:

• The site Operation Manager reports directly to the company's Operation Director.

• He/She will oversee the company's day-to-day operation work onsite which comprises activities that coordinate the essential functions required to manage their workflow and achieve goals.

• Their primary duties include overseeing operation employees, implementing communications procedures between departments/vendors/clients, and developing strategic initiatives to improve efficiency throughout the business.

Job Summary:

A Site Operation Manager is a busy person with a range of duties that include the following:

• Making sure that all operations run smoothly and align with quality standards.

• Ensuring safety of staffs/works onsite.

• Overseeing the handing over of the projects onsite to ensure payments can be collected.

• Implementing procedures regarding improvements of the operations and staffs.

• Employing means to keep company costs down

• Conducting operation staffs performance reviews and motivating staff

• Managing market initiatives and maximize business performance to reach the customer and company goals

• Achieving better business practices

• Ensuring safety of staffs onsite.

Responsibility and Duties:

• 8.00 am - Ensure that the 1st parties are ready with tools and materials for site work.

• 8.30 am - Do roll call and briefing to ensure all operation staffs do work as per planning.

• 9.00 am - Move to the sites

• 10.00 am - Do QC at the site and liaise with the client and vendors

• 12.00nn - Lunch break

• 1.00 pm - Back to the office and do planning/update of the site work

• Make sure all work up to date as per planning.

• Make sure vendors meet the requirement of the contract

• Make sure purchases are made on time and be delivered to the site

• Communicate with the client/vendors

• Communicate with the administrative staff

• 5.00 pm - Follow up with team members about the work on-site and do necessary planning/changes if there is a need.

• 6.00 pm - End of day report to the Operation Director.

Qualification: Degree Holder

Experience in Renovation work: 6 years and above

Skills and Ability:

Know-How skills: A Site Operation Manager needs to be able to ensure that the renovation work is up to standard and quality.


Leadership and motivational skills: A Site Operation Manager needs to be able to motivate a team and provide specific goals


Good communication skills: An effective Site Operations Manager must be able to communicate on different levels with people. Being able to get a message across to staff, superiors and customers is an essential skill that is put to the test daily.


Problem-solving and conflict management skills: Since most working environments will have some sort of conflict either internally or with clients, the Site Operations Manager will need good conflict management skills to resolve conflict.


Accountability: A Site Operations Manager is responsible for a number of business aspects, as such he or she needs to have a sense of accountability.


People management and motivation: Companies only get things done when the staff is motivated. A successful Site Operations Manager knows how to build a strong team and develop positive relationships by understanding and addressing the individual needs of staff.


Delegating skills: The difference between a happy and successful Site Operations Manager compared to a successful but unhappy Site Operations Manager is the ability to get things done through others and to know how and when to hand over tasks to team members.


Able to work under pressure: Since a Site Operations Manager has to look after a number of things, there will be stringent deadlines to meet. It is important that a Site Operations Manager can effectively work even under pressure situations.

Salary and Benefits:

• Salary starts from $2500 to $3500

• NO OT claimable as this is a Managerial Position
