IT Manager - Network Management
Our client is a bank.
Job Description:
• Maintain and administer computer networks
• Manage network devices: Core Switch, Router, Firewall, Network Monitoring System, Wireless, Remote Access
• Configuration, installation, maintenance and life cycles planning of various network devices and services
• Monitor network performance and ensuring reliability and availability
• Experience in log review, log monitoring, firewall rule review
• Monitor and assess overall health functionality of security systems and equipment
• Provide technical support and advice on all hardware and software in the network environment
• Manage the problem resolution process with maintenance support vendor on operational matters as well as troubleshooting and resolution of network related problems
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
• Conduct IT security awareness training for all staff
• Perform daily IT operational and disaster center operational tasks
• Provide operations support for user inquiries and issues via email and phone
• Perform house-keeping tasks (i.e. backup, and optimization)
• Maintain network user accounts
• Direct and coordinate troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Make recommendations to the current procedure for hardware, software, and other network and system problems
• Implement an integrated mechanism for IT inquiries, call handling, logging and escalation for IT issues and assignment
• Perform disaster recovery operations and data backups when required
• Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing network security measures
• Maintain, configure, and monitor virus protection software and email applications
Job Requirements:
• Degree in any relevant discipline
• 5 to 8 years of relevant working experience
• Experience with routers, switches and firewall, i.e. Cisco, Huawei, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint etc
• Knowledge and experience in using Network Management System
• Salary ranges between S$6,000 to S$7,000 per month
