Your role
We are looking for a highly-skilled Test Automation Engineer to support our eBanking solution in:
•design and develop test automation scripts based on our test automation framework
•collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure E2E automation and develop sustainable solutions
•continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize testing, integration, and delivery efficiency
Your team
You will be part of the APAC Touchpoint eBanking Development & Testing team based in Singapore, working with local & global developers, and business across APAC and Switzerland.
Your expertise
You have:
- 5+ years of professional experience with test automation (including 3+ years of professional experience testing REACT JS and SPA applications)
- good exposure with Java, Cucumber, Maven, Jenkins, Selenium and/or Appium and customized frameworks.
- Good understanding and hands-on working experience in agile environment
- experience working in banking domain plus especially in WM, across geographically distributed teams
- hands On Experience in test data setup for Digital Banking solutions involving complex upstream systems
- Individual contributor and a proactive QA engineer, good Team Player
- Plan and design test strategy for the scrum team applications
- Co-ordination with stakeholders to highlight risk and issues in testing
- Hands-on experience with Git (CI/CD)
- Experience working with cross-functional scrum teams
- ability to accomplish complex engineering tasks independently
- analytical skills to cope with complex challenges in software engineering
- experience in implementing best practices and improving current processes
- a positive attitude and a great interest in shaping the future of technology in banking
- a strong written and verbal communication, comfortable interacting with colleagues globally in different timezone
Nice to have skills:
- experience in initiating automation process from scratch
- experience with SeeTest or Appium grid
- experience of working according to agile practices (Scrum/Kanban) and/or the Safe framework
- JIRA, GitLab and Confluence
